Looking like a home:)

Tonight after Moss got home from teaching a class down in Mesquite we headed on over to see what progress had taken place. It was dark already so we had flash light in hand so we could see. We were very pleasantly surprised when we got there and all the lights worked in the house! Even better was the carpet was almost in all the way and the fixtures were in. Also the granite was all done in the mater bathroom and the toilet was put where it was suppose to be.I am in love with the fixtures in this house, here are some lights when you first walk in.

The lights in the kitchen. The house we are in now has horrible lighting and you can't see too well when the sun goes down. I am way stoked about how many lights there are in this kitchen.

I really think Brenden is going to love the new house, every time we go over there he just runs around and around.Moss posing with the carpet he is so so excited too.

Granite is in!

The plan as of now is to do the final walk through on Thursday and then close on Friday and that is when we will get the keys! That is right in time for my Birthday on Saturday. This may be the best birthday present I have ever gotten:) But I am hoping for some other sweet gifts too, I am keeping my fingers crossed for Brenden and I. Anyway back to the house. Yesterday we got our Granite counter tops in. Here is the Kitchen. I think the colors all blend pretty well.
Here is the buds bathroom with counter tops and a toilet.Here is a random toilet in our master bedroom, not in the bathroom mind you. Pretty sure they are going to move it:)We also got a water heater...(This is probably the only time I will take a picture of something as boring as this)

And here is a closer look at the landscaping with out the tools still all over the place.They put the tack strip down for the carpet so they should be doing that either today or tomorrow and Moss said it looks like they are getting ready to put all the fixtures in which I am really excited about:) We also found a sweet BBQ and Lawnmower that we will probably be purchasing later this week. Moss will be teaching a class down in Mesquite this week so I am doing a lot of the packing myself and let me tell you one thing. Packing with a one year old is A LOT different then the last time when he was only 7 months old. Brenden would rather unpack then pack right now. This should be an adventure.

Landscaped

Our front yard is now landscaped and we are very pleased. I am excited to have some grass in the front when we first move in so Brenden will have a place to play. For now he really likes going in the backyard and throwing the dirt around and randomly eating a hand full. I bet we will spend plenty of time back there once we move in. The bathroom showers and tubs also got tiled and are waiting to be grouted. Hopefully a lot will get done tomorrow, I will for sure let ya'll know:)

We have Cabinets:)

Today a lot got done on our house and I could not wait for the dudes to stop working so I could get in there and see! The cabinets and the non carpet flooring were put in today. I was a little scared of how it would look once the colors were all together but I think it turned our pretty good. Now we just have to wait to see how the granite ties in. Here is the kitchen...

The master Bathroom, they did a little bit of the tile on the bath. I am really excited to see how the tile looks in the shower any day now that will get done.

Our flooring, for now we just did vinyl so that the house can settle and then we can lay tile and there won't be as many cracks.
Last is the Bud's bathroom, they will be doing tile around this bath too.

Washing the car/the bud.

Yesterday I decided it was about time to wash the car, seeing as it had not been washed since the last rain storm. I was not sure how it was going to go with a little toddler helping me out but it had to be done. I started to spray the car and Brenden thought it was just so funny. He kept laughing over and over again. Little did he know it was about to get even better. I put some soap in the water bucket and bubbles began to form. Brenden thought he needed to take a few bites while I was not looking. I would of got a picture but I didn't want to hold off getting the bubbles out of his mouth. Brenden later found the hose while it was still on and had the best time of his life so far. It was really funny he would try to look at it and water would get in his face and he was sputter and get up and walk away as fast as his little chubby legs would take him. But he would always come back for more. Needless to say by the end of the car wash he was drenched but very happy. At least the car was clean:)Later on the Bud and I did our daily task and drove past the house. They were stuccoing the outside and finishing up painting the inside. The inside is a color call "killing beige". We really like how it turned out it seems so bright and happy but will compliment our other colors very nicely.
I drove by already today and the hard flooring in down and they are putting in the cabinets. Moss and I will go over later tonight and take lots of pictures to post tomorrow.

Our Fridge!

You know you have a very exciting life when you post about buying a new fridge:) I am excited though:) We bought a different one awhile ago but then my dad got this other one come in for a better deal and we like the LED display on this one. It is by LG which is always cool:) It got pretty good ratings so we are really excited. They painted the inside of our house yesterday and they want to do the final walk through next week. That means they are going to have it get lots done this week. I am really excited to see the rest of our appliances we chose and see how all the colors come together.

FHE at the P-A-R-K

Last night I was making some good ol' sloppy Joe's and Moss was sneaking around the kitchen. I kept asking what he was doing and he said nothing. I eventually figured out he was making a picnic for the park:) So we loaded up everything and walked the mile to the park. It was really bright outside so we put Brenden's sunglasses on. He actually kept them on for awhile.

Once we got the park which had a billion people in it we settle down. Actually just Moss and I did. Brenden just stood by the stroller the whole time. I would randomly hand him a chip to keep him happy. It was really funny how timid he was in the grass.

After we were all full we went for a lap around the park. Brenden wanted to walk so it took us a little longer but it was so cute to watch him strut around:)

In other news, our house got the doors and trim molding put in and also the shelving put up in the closets and pantry. I am so so excited for our pantry it is like twice as big as the one we have now:)

Good news!

Moss and I just drove by our neighborhood and found out the house behind us IS going to be a one story! We are very excited that we will still have a pretty good view of Pine Valley. Here is a picture of the status today I am sure you are all interested:) The whole house is sheet rocked and they put on the prime mud today. Our neighbors yard got landscaped today so they should be moving in pretty soon.
In other news Brenden got some new shoes. Some crocks! Moss was really excited for them, they were only 5 bucks at big lots. Brenden just held them the whole way out and was so proud they were his.

Day 3 and tour of house:)

Yesterday I went to boot camp in the morning, it was not too bad but today I am definitely feeling it. I had no idea you had so many muscle in your back that could hurt this bad. It's a good thing Brenden can walk a lot of places now. After Moss was done with work we went over to our house to see what had changed. To our surprise there was no one working on the house so we were brave enough to go in a get a few pictures. Here is a little virtual tour of the house during the pre sheet rock stage. It was so funny Brenden kept laughing for now reason the whole time we were there. I guess he is excited too:) ( We didn't have our camera so we just used my phone so the picture are not great. )
