Sunday Morning

Yesterday morning I decided it would be fun to take a few pictures of our family. I think they turned out pretty dang cute. Moss even use his photoshop skills and made them even better. Good work Moss! I think we will try a few more different kind of picture as we get bored. It's pretty fun and as long as he is well rested and fed he will smile on command pretty good:)

Loving The Storms

Watching storms on our back porch is probably one of our favorite things to. Brenden just loves to be outside no matter what. A little while ago I came home from the gym and found Moss and the bud out on the back porch just watching the storm. Brenden would love it when it would thunder. I thought it would scare him since he is so jumpy but he loved it!
Brenden also has been learning to give hugs, but only to his daddy. It is so cute and Moss just loves it!

Every Child's Nightmare is coming true...

I was thinking a few days ago about how much I am turning into my Dad and Heather's post about my dad has prompted me to do so.
My siblings will probably be the only who will understand but bare with me everyone else it just needs to be said.

-Every night night before I go to bed I have a strong urge to go cut a big piece of cheese and just gobble it down. Most the time I leave the knife out too until the morning when Moss will put it away.

-I tend to take WAY too long to pick out of movie and have to go back and forth for about an hour before deciding which one. (Good thing you can rent online at the redbox or the people behind me in line would be screwed.)

-Whenever I see a little girl with pig tails in her hair I have to fight really hard to not tug on them.

-Yeah I will admit it I have called Moss a "Gunky" a few times in our marriage.

-Even though I laughed so hard at Dad on Sunday I have referred to "RSV" as "RSVP" too.

-Right now I can see a 3lb jar of peanuts sitting on my counter.

-I definitely never thought I would say this but I listen to take radio and you know what I LIKE IT A LOT!

-When I can't remember people's name I randomly make them up just so I don't look like a weirdo, sometimes I really do choose Sam:)

Happy 25th Birthday To Moss!

Yesterday was Moss 25th birthday. Thats old for me, I can't believe I am married to a 25 year old! Don't worry I still think he is freaking awesome, the whole day I kept thanking him for letting me hang out with him on his birthday. I don't know why he wouldn't hang out with me but I was still happy about it. The morning started with Brenden sleeping in a little bit which was nice and then I let Moss sleep in a bit more until his work called. I seriously don't know what they would do with out him. He pretty much has to fix everything. It brings in the money though so I don't mind. I made Moss muffins for breakfast. I have never been a fan of anything but cereal or pancake stuff for breakfast. But Moss loves having random stuff for breakfast, so I made him happy. I got Brenden back to sleep for his morning nap and decided it was a good time for present.

So Moss looks very very good in a hat and he only has one that he has had for years so I decided he needed another one. Oh I love him in hats!!!Next he got these sweet shorts, now I know what you are thinking, why didn't you take a picture with him wearing them? haha. They are called jammers and you wear them under your swim suit. Well at least I make moss not wear them by themselves.
What's a birthday without a new shirt?
Yeah I will admit it I got Moss a picnic basket for his 25th birthday. He said he wanted one so what else was I suppose to do?
The bud was just so so sleepy... He loves to sleep with the blanket on his face I promise.
We then went shopping for a wet suit and a new CTR ring but we didn't find what we wanted so no luck there. At 1 we dropped off Brenden at Bonnie's house. Thankfully she watch him til 4:30 then handed him off to my Mom until 9. It was really nice to have some alone time and not be stressed about entertaining the kid. Thanks Mom and Bonnie!
We headed out on our picnic with are harmons food in hand and went to the park.

Lunch was really good and we were laughing like crazy most the time. It was like when we were dating haha. I love just laughing and talking with Moss. I belive that is when I am most happy. We played a game called Hink Pink. It were you have to rymth words and come up with hints to them or something like that. I was not too good at it cause apparenlty I don't know what it means when a word rymths. I figure if the word ends with the same letter it means it rymths. Moss does not agree haha. Oh well it was fun anyways.

We then headed to the temple to do some sealings. It was nice to take a break from the real world for a couple hours.
We then went to Star Trek. Can you tell it was Moss' birthday and not mine? Jk It was actaully a pretty good movie. I love my nerd!!!
We then went to dinner and Red Lobster. So so yummy! Moss even ate all his food and some of mine. I guess he was pretty hungry.
By this time it was time to pick up the bud. We both missed him. We came home and went on a walk and then hung out in the back yard while Moss read to us his new book. Brenden and I listened intently:) Brenden would not stop pesting Moss. He kept grabbin his ear and then rubbing the scruff on his chin. It was so cute!

During Brenden bath I decided Moss needed to be sung to and be able to blow out a candle so I grabbed what I had and sang to him. It's tradition in Moss' family to get picture of them while they are blowing so here it is!
This is Moss' favorite time of day, when he is holding the Bud after his bath. So cute!

Father's Day 2009

This year was Moss' first fathers day actually being one. I volunteered to get up with Brenden in the morning but he said he wanted to so I was not going to argue with that. We got up and went to our friend Derek Visser's homecoming at 9:00. It was really fun to hear him speak and we are WAY excited for him to be home. After ward we came home and open presents for Moss.
The Bud wasn't being super good so it was a little stressful but I got a few pictures of the festivities. He was however so excited to start opening presents. He could not wait for Moss to start!
First Moss got all sorts of ram for our laptop and our desktop computers. He was really excited about it. Apparently it was a good gift. Brenden loved to eat the rapping paper. He loves to eat everything if you could not tell.

Don't they both just look so excited about the present? Brenden seems to be saying are you serious? Is that it? I can't see anything else in this box. He also requested that I by this chair for The Bud. I already posted a picture of it when he sat in it at the store but now it is officially ours. Brenden could not be happier he is screaming for joy!

Later on we went to both our parents house and celebrated there. It was super fun to hang out with everyone! Moss is an awesome dad! Here our a few reason why Brenden and I love him.
-He gets up with Brenden on the weekends
-He works harder than anyone I have ever seen at his job
-Every night he gives Brenden a bath and reads him the scriptures
-He can tell when I am stressing about our boy and he will take him on walks
-If I ever want to go hang out with my sisters at night he will watch the bud
-He is pretty much the smartest guy I know!
We love you Moss and are so glad you are our Dad we get to celebrate for many more Father's days to come. Thanks for dealing with our craziness.

Too Crazy for Brenden I guess

Brenden and I do a lot of driving around now a days and it's always fun to look back and see what he is doing. Yesterday when I was all parked I look back and saw Brenden doing this, holding on for dear life. Apparently I drive a little too crazy for him and he feels like he has to hold on to stay steady. After taking this picture I realized how red his hair. Maybe this picture just caught the sun or some but Holy cow, I don't know if I am ready for another red head, Moss is enough to handle!

Just Hanging Out

Every morning Brenden starts to "talk" so I will wake up and come get him out of the swing. This morning I came out and Brenden was looking a little funny. He was almost laying completely side ways in his swing. It was pretty funny! Good thing he wears his seat belt to bed or he might jump out one of these times. I love coming and getting him in the mornings cause he is always so happy and gets the biggest grin on his face when he sees me. He also has started to do this thing where he breath really loud at you if he is happy. What a funny little boy:)

Brenden's First Trip

Yesterday Moss was finishing up teaching a Water Safety Instructor course down in Mesquite and Brenden and I decided to join him. I was really worried about the car ride down there. If I can get Brenden to sleep in the car he will usually stay asleep until you stop driving but I was not sure how he was going to react to a 45 min car ride. Well turns out there was no need to worry he did awesome. We got in the car and by the time we were to the freeway Brenden was asleep and slept the whole way down there and even about 40 minutes after we got out of the car. While Moss was teaching Brenden and I just walked around the Recreation center and then when they went out to the pool we watched. Brenden just kept watching them swim back and forth back and forth. I think it's cause thats what his daddy was doing but I could be wrong. I forgot to take pictures which is lame cause it's Brenden first trip but oh well. This summer we will be going up north with my side of the family and camping at least once with Moss' family and maybe another time with mine. So there will be a lot of new adventures for us with a baby.

Well Post are really boring with out pictures because no one ever reads the text anyways so here you go. A couple weeks ago while Brenden was chilling in his crib, one of the few times he has, we tool a photo shoot. Brenden has all sorts of hats but I never have him wear any so I though maybe he should try on a few. This one he looks like a girl whoops...

These are his sweet basketball shorts. Moss and I usually wear Basketball shorts to bed and he wanted to join us. So that night he just slept with them on:) He also LOVES soft things! This is his best friend! Doesn't he just look so tough? P.S. Living with out a swing has not been too bad actually. I am very surprised and happy about that. Some morning he wakes up a little earlier than normal but all in all it hasn't been to hard. He misses it for he naps but we will survive until 7 to 14 days.

Uh-oh we may be in big trouble.

The worst has happened! Well maybe not the worst but it is pretty high at the top of the list. Brenden's Swing bit the dust! Now you must know my baby Brenden is not the typical baby and can sleep in his crib like normal babies. He took a short nap in it once but he isn't a fan of the stationary sleeping circumstances. The weird thing is that the music still works on the swing but the moving apparatus does not work. So needless to say last night was a little but of an adventure and I will admit it I swore once. ( I am not perfect I know but I swear about once every six months). I thought that maybe the swing stopped because of baby Brenden's high count of fat lipids but the manual say it can hold up to 25 lbs of lard. Ok so it might not say "lard" but you get the idea. It took one night of thinking maybe he can learn to sleep stationary like a normal person to get me to call the fisher price people and give them a piece of my mind. I called them up and after giving them a few facts about whats going on she said ok I will extend your warrenty an extra month and send you out a new one for free! Yes I said free! I am so so brave! It will take 7 to 14 days to get here so I may go insane before then but at least I know sanity is back on its way. So for now if you see me and I look like a hag it is probably best not to say anything;)

On a happier note on Saturday we went to Sportsman and found this sweet honey. Brenden is definitely going to love this on the family camp this year!
