Brenden's first Teeth:)

On August 14 I went to get Brenden out of his crib and he tried to suck on my finger which was weird. Well he bit down and it hurt...which meant he got some teeth! At first I thought it was just one but apparently he grew them in two's this time. He was a little crabby for a few days and had a running nose and a fever but he wasn't too bad. I was finally able to get a picture of them. He does not like to show them off so this was the best I could do.

Life sucks and then you die...

Thats how I feel right now:( I know so much more could be going wrong but so much is. I just wish that people would stop trying to screw each other over. WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST KEEP THEIR PROMISES! Yes I am angry! I am angry at people who made this economy go to crap. I hate that I had NOTHING to do with it. I was in High School doing what I should whilst people were out there trying to afford houses they could not. Thinking they could solve everything with money. I wish people would just live the values that there good mothers taught them. I wish people would just say what they mean and not sugar coat it. I am so sick of having to go through so many loop holes to get an answer to a simple question. I WANT FAIRNESS! I know I am not going to get it in this life but heck maybe people should try and be FAIR. I wish the college to offer classes when they say they are going to so it doesn't take 8 years to get a bachelors degree. I want people to NOT LIE! This life is hard enough why make it harder with web of lies. I wish there were more jobs available so you didn't have to work at a place that is making you have a nervous break down because everyone is being just plan STUPID! I want to not have to justify myself if I don't want to do something or if I do. This is how I feel and I don't care who knows. I am not perfect I am one FRUSTRATED woman right now. Until my issues are resolved this is how me and Moss will get through it...

Got To Love It

I will admit one of my favorite parts of my day is seeing Brenden first thing in the morning. He is just so happy to be awake! Ever since we started having him sleep in his crib he wakes up with some sweet hair in the morning.

First date Anniversary

Wednesday was Moss' and mine 3 year anniversary of the first time we hung out together. On August 19th 2006 Moss and I were working together at the city pool. I was getting really scared for school to start and Moss was asking around what he should do for his last official day of summer. Nobody had any good ideas so he came and asked me. It is still up for debate weather or not Moss asked what "we" should do or what "he" should do but I took it as he wanted some company and I didn't have anything to do and he seemed like a fun kid to hang out with. I had not hung out with anyone the whole summer long and I was really excited to have someone to talk to other than my parents and my dog.

It eventually turned into what should we do tonight. I ended up staying for the the reservation and just hanging out. Well it was time to close up the pool and we still didn't have a plan so Moss just said he needed to get some gas and invited me along. So Moss opened my door and I got in. I was impressed:) Then he turned on his car and the book of Mormon on tape was playing. I was like wow thats pretty cool. Little did I know that was the first of many books on tape I would catch him listening to haha. Well he turned that off and put on some black eyed peas and we headed to the gas station. Moss had some pretty sweet subs and speakers in his jeep so it was fun to go bumping down the boulevard. We got some gas and Moss asked if I wanted anything and I said no thanks. He seemed a little nervous cause he was having a hard time swiping his card haha. Moss will disagree on that but whatever. Moss asked again what I wanted to do and I said I just liked to drive around and he said oh good cause I do too. Oh cute our first thing in common:) Moss said ok I know what we should do, go for a drive in warner valley. I was like yeah sure, I know where that is...haha No idea! Turns out it was out past Stahlei farms. We headed out on a dirt road that eventually goes to hurricane.

It was seriously the funniest time I had had in a very long time. We just talked and talked. Moss mostly told stories about random adventures he had been on. I LOVED IT! I could still listen to Moss' stories all day long. We were extremely open with each other and knew about each other what most people learn in the first few months of dating. I was a little scared going out in the middle of no where with some kid I didn't know too well but I am VERY happy I did. We eventually made it to hurricane and we got on the freeway and headed back. I was SO sad the night was over and did not want to go home but Moss was being a good little boy and getting me home by midnight. We said our goodbyes and I thanked Moss for hanging out and he said we needed to do it again. I drove home and was one happy girl. I was excited to have something to write in my journal haha.
The next day I saw him at church and we talked for a second. I didn't know until later but Moss was going to asked me to go on another drive that sunday but he didn't have my number. Well that next Monday, the first day of college. I saw Moss sitting down in the counselors office and said hello and we talked. I thought he thought maybe I was a little annoying cause he was not saying much. Well I called Bonnie and told her I talked to him again and she was getting all excited for me. As I was talking to her I heard someone yell my name. I said oh my gosh Bonnie its him I will call you back . He ran up to me and we talked again about what classes he should take and then figured out we worked together again that night. Thank goodness for whoever was doing the schedule at the time haha:) That night we ended up going to a movie "The Lake House". I thought he was trying to hold my hang so I just went for it and thought what the heck this might be fun. I found out later he wasn't trying to. Which I still don't believe all the way haha:) Moss helped me through a lot of tough time and proved himself an AWESOME guy and the rest is history. Well we are still writing that history but I am VERY thankful I have this awesome guy to go through everything with. Thanks for asking me on a jeep ride Moss. I couldn't asked for a better guy.

Moss was very cute this year and got us some cheese and sparkling cider to eat and got me a rose:) I thought it was a very cute idea. Thanks Moss!

The results are in...

On Saturday we headed out to the fair and was I really nervous. I don't know why, there was nothing that I could do to mess it up haha. We got there and waited around forever and Brenden was just looking so cute!

Well it was our turn to go up there and be judged. We stood on the stage and it was kinda of awkward but Brenden seemed to not mind.

We then had to go over to the judges table and stand there and try to make our baby look even cuter. Well I know it's lame to say this but they didn't even ever look at Brenden. Apparently they we into the little skinny dark skinned babies. Not the cute chubby ones. He even tried to talk to them and they didn't care. Poor kid...

Well we then waited for the results...

Brenden was apart of the top 6 babies in his age group and then they narrowed it down to the top three. But sadly he was not apart of that. So we say that he got fourth:) Brenden did have quite the support group though. Thanks for coming everyone!

Washington County Fair Baby Contest.

A few weeks ago my dad texted me and ask if I was going to put Brenden in the baby contest this year. I had been thinking about it a little bit since when I was little I won best physic (because I was VERY fat) and was thinking maybe Brenden could win that too. Well I got online and looked at what you had to do and then called Joanna to see if she would be nice enough to go with me. She said she would talked to Jason and let me know. I was getting pretty excited and nervous, not much goes on in my little life so this was a pretty big thing for me. Joanna told me Jason approved and so planned to go out there this week.
Before we headed out on wednesday I decided Brenden hair needed a little help. I am VERY glad he has hair but it was getting a little to long and starting to look girly so it was time for his first haircut ever! It was kind of sad cutting off the first hair he ever growed but it had to be done. Here it is before...

During...Brenden favorite new thing to do it shake his head back and forth. It is SO dang cute and I love it when he does it, except for when I was trying to cut his hair.

We then headed out the fair and were like the first people to register haha. We got our time and made sure that Hailee could wear a bow and we all ready to show up on Friday. We also saw some sweet bears while we were out there. It was really weird and kinda sad but it was cool to see some up close.

Friday morning we headed out to the fair and got there like 20 minutes early haha. I just have a huge fear of being late to anything.

Well Brenden got judged first and he did very good. It was really awkward sitting there in front on 14 year olds that were just starying at you but I got him to smile and laugh a few times so that was good. Here we are waiting to be judged!

Joanna got a lame judge that was like on her phone half the time. I thought hailee looked dang cute but WHATEVER!

We were told that they would call up back later that day and tell us if we were a finalist. I was getting way nervous cause his number was number one and they had not called yet. Finally someone called and I screamed. Moss laughed and Brenden got scared haha. Well here we are not waiting to go out to the fair for the fianl judgeing at noon. He doens't need to get first place I think it would just be fun to get a trophy but we will see. Keep your fingers crossed. I may be biased but I think my baby Brenden is pretty dang cute!!!
