Forts, Kites, pugs and yardwork...

It has been forever since I posted which is weird for me but I will try to catch up a but. It is almost 9 in the morning and Brenden is still sleeping which is really weird for him but thats ok to me. Now that Brenden is getting older and more aware of things I have been trying to find fun stuff for us to do together. One morning I got the idea to make a little fort for him. He was pretty confused as to what was going on but he eventually loves it. He would run in and out and scream. I tired to lay down on it and he sat on my head haha. Moss was excited when he got home probably cause he was excited I did something somewhat productive.
A couple weeks ago we went to the kite festival. Brenden had his first trip on a bus, he was really happy to not have to be in a car seat and being in a moving vehicle.
He mostly just walked around the toys and watched his cousins play on them.He did bounce on the outside of this slide though.

The next day a little tiny pug came to visit. He was so so cute but got hair all over us. Brenden was so so excited cause he was so wiggly and snorty:) Later we found out it is our neighbors so hopefully he will come and visit again sometime. It was a Sunday morning so don't mind how beautiful we are.
Yesterday we did some much needed yard work and finally cut the grass for the first time. I love mowing the lawn it just like vacuuming but even better:) We even moved one of the plants in our front yard and replanted it. We are pros:)

This is the last week of Moss being a full time student and Dixie State. It is also the week on the Iron Man and Moss is in charge of all of the lifeguards out at the lake on Saturday and has to go to a bunch of meetings. We have to be out to Sand Hollow Saturday morning by 4. That might suck a little but I think it is going to be an awesome experience and hopefully I don't have to save anyone. This week for be pretty intense but fun:)

Easter 2010

Things have been crazy lately but we were able to celebrate Easter and watch some Conference. On Saturday we had some good Burger King breakfast.I took this picture of Moss and looked at it and was like what the heck where did your arm go!!! I have no idea how it happened and I promise I did not edit it at all!
I took another one too so you would know he really does have an arm.

We got to watch conference with this sweet set up. Yeah we have an attena we are cool:) It's free so whatever! I would suggest it to anyone who does not want to pay for TV we get all the main channels in HD it's pretty dang sweet.

There were not many places for the Easter Bunny to hide the eggs since we only had on piece of furniture over here but since Brenden is so so little hiding them in the middle of the room was fun enough for him. Brenden was so cute and kept saying "ooo" every time he would find on.

Later we went to my parents house where we had another Easter egg hunt. I was looking around for Brenden and I found him standing by this tree and thought he looked pretty cute.

22 years old...

We finally have Internet again and lots has gone on so I will try to catch up. Last Friday we closed on our house and started to move in. We snap a few shots while we were there.

Joanna was a great Realtor and I would recommend her to anyone. Her she is posing her all her glory:)

The next day was my 22nd birthday. It was a really busy one with conference and trying to move a little bit but we got to squeeze in some fun. We went over to Moss parents after the first session and got to hang out with his parents and Jay and Brynn it was a lot of fun. Moss left the room for a little bit and came back and told me to come with him. Then I saw this!

I was super excited, I have wanted a bike for a long time now. Moss parents also gave me some sweet gifts. A helmet and swiss cheese and crackers:)

Later on we went and bought this cool thing so Brenden can come on rides with me. He loves it!

That afternoon we went to Red lobster just Moss and I. It was very nice and yummy!

Moss then went to Preistood and I went and hung out with some of the girls in my family. It was a lot of fun. We had pizza and sundaes and everyone came and saw the new house. Moss' parents and Jay and Brynn came over and we chatted until late. It was really fun! That was my birthday:)

Quick trip and the house is ready for us!

Moss Brenden and I made a quick trip down to Mesquite yesterday. It was really fun to get away and have a change a scenery. Moss had to drop some paperwork off for the class he is teaching so we made a day out of it. We even got to visit my Dad and sears. I didn't tell him we were coming so he was excited to see us. He even hung out with Brenden for a minute while I had to go pick Moss up. We had a late lunch at the 19th Hole. Moss Grandma has told us about it awhile ago and we were excited to check it out. It was really really good. They have really good homemade potatoe chips and yummy sandwiches. Moss and Brenden posed with the Ketchup and Mustard while we waited for out food.

Brenden was out within 2 minutes of being on the road. Needless to say it was a great drive home:)

In other news, Brenden may be a plumber when he grows up haha! I could not resists.Big news!... Our Appliances are in and we did the walk through today and we will close tomorrow and get the keys and it will be ours:) Well in thirty years...The best news of all...The back neighbors are building a wall!!!! And we don't have to pay a dime!!! We are so so excited. I could not stop freaking out when I saw it! Yes!!!

Tonight after Moss got home from teaching a class down in Mesquite we headed on over to see what progress had taken place. It was dark already so we had flash light in hand so we could see. We were very pleasantly surprised when we got there and all the lights worked in the house! Even better was the carpet was almost in all the way and the fixtures were in. Also the granite was all done in the mater bathroom and the toilet was put where it was suppose to be.I am in love with the fixtures in this house, here are some lights when you first walk in.
