Day two

For the second day on spring break we slept in a little so Moss spent most his day at work. Brenden and I did a little cleaning and obviosuly drove by our house. Today was insulation day, glad I didn't have to put it in,it is so scratchy!

I also decided to get a picture from the other side of the house since I always get the same angle. So here it is. I would get picture from the inside but there is ALWAYS people there working and I don't want to get in there way or look weird so for now just outside pictures...until fun stuff starts happening like cabinets and baths and sinks and stuff.

Later in the night we watch a little biggest loser and ate this very healthy treat. We both about lost it afterwards and decided next time we should just make one to share...
Don't worry I went to boot camp this morning to work all of that off:) Moss walked up the stairs I think, but I am pretty sure his body does not know how to store fat:)

First day of spring break!

It is really weird to think that this is the last year until Brenden gets into school that Spring Break will be a big deal to our family. So we are leaving it up...not really. Moss still has to go into work but luckily we get to go visit and swim if the weather goes well. Today he went in early which means he got to get off earlier than normal. We spent the afternoon wondering what to do. Asking each other what do you want to do, then the other one would say I don't know what do you want to do...(now don't start that again haha) Anyways...we went over to Moss parents house and chilled with them, they are always fun to go hang out with and are sure nice to let us come over all the time to get out of our house and have more people to socialize with. Later we had a gift card to sportsmen so we went on a hunt for something fun. After finding a bunch of random things and having Brenden try on a sweet raccoon hat we figure it would be best to wait awhile cause we were not finding anything useful. On the way out out of the corner of my eye I found exactly what I wanted!!! A Skookie! I was so excited, Moss was embarrassed haha! Oh well he is getting used to it. I told him it would be sweet and we should get it. He believed me. We came home right quick and got to work. We decided we would first try out a pizza for dinner. It took longer than I thought it would for the bread to rise but eventually it was done. They turned our pretty dang good and were so so easy. Moss now loves it! I would suggest to anyone that does not have it to try one out, especially if ya have kids I bet they would love it. Later in the week we will try the original cookie idea, I bet it will be delicious. Happy Spring Break to all whenever yours is:)

House update: They put in the windows today and were working on the electrical. Good news today they are going to be able to put in the outlet for our hot tub (in the future) in the backyard! Good work Jo for being pesty:)

Someone has been working hard...

After going and meeting with our mortgage guy and finding out rates had come down even more Moss and I were pleasantly surprised. We were happy again when we drove past our house and saw this. Someone has been working hard over the last 24 hours...Thankfully it was not me:)

Exciting day for lots of reasons!

Drove by our house today and freaked out when I saw this!
That is our house! It is so surreal...
Later in the day Jo told me she was getting pretty close so thankfully Weed watch Brenden so I could go in there. Probably 15 minutes after I got there Bentley was born! Yeah Jo and Jason!!! I have pictures but I will let them post some first. Congrats you two! He sure is a cutie! Mom Daddy and Baby are doing great and it was seriously the perfect delivery.

Getting warm

Yesterday I dropped Moss off at school and was headed to Tj Maxx to do some much needed short shopping. Recently it has been so nice and warm here that I just had to get out of the winter clothes. About two seconds after driving away Moss called me and said class was cancelled. I was excited because that meant Moss got to come along on the shopping spree! He was actually happy to help me find some good stuff. I was pleasntly surpirsed at the inventory that was at the store. I got two pairs of shorts there and a really cute pair of pant for pretty cheap. We then headed to Ross where I got two more pairs. Moss was so good at telling me yes and no on things. Thats exactly what I needed. Bring on the sun! I am ready:)

Ready get set...

Well the countdown is on, they have started on our house. Moss wants me to take lots of picture so that means I will be posting lots too, lucky you guys:) They have poured the foundation and did some plumbing from what I can see. Our neighbors to the side already have there house up and have the black stuff on the side. On the other side it is a two story and they just finished doing the second story. When they finally put up the sign for that one saying what model it was we were driving around like crazy trying to find out which kind it was. We were so excited when it was a two story cause that means more shade for us:) Yesterday when we drove by we noticed that we have back neighbors too. They just dug the holes for them. It looks like it will be a one story to us. Moss and I are not great house guessers when we can only see the holes but we are hoping we are right so that we still have a pretty good view of Pine Valley from our backyard. I am just excited that they are all getting built right now and not while I am trying to sleep in the morning:) I have had plenty of that in the last two years. So as of now we are guessing it will be done around April 10th! I am so ready to move, and heck I am good at it too:)

On a different note, Moss told me on Sunday that it was Prim. I said huh? He went on to explain it was a Jewish holiday. He explained it all too me but all I can remember is that you are suppose to eat triangle shaped pastries. So for FHE we did that, of course while watching the Bachelor haha.

A post about me...what?!?!?

Moss and I got bored on Saturday so we gave me a little mini makeover. It was really fun! I will admit I am turning into a mom and have not bought new pants since before Brenden was born. It was weird to go shopping for me, I was a little bugged about all the skinny jeans out there I just wanted a normal pair of jeans! We finally found some way cute ones at Rus 21 that were only 20 bucks! Yes! We bought me some way cute shirts at Khols. They were even fancy ones that were just T-shirts like a I usually get. Moss was very good at saying yes and no to shirts. That made it a lot easier. Later we went and bought some sweet hair dye for my hair. I have not been super dark since high school but I was excited to go back. Moss did all the work and I just enjoyed getting pampered:) Here is a picture of my new hair. My hair always makes everything have a red tint but I think it turned out pretty good!
