Halloween 2012

This Halloween started on Monday night with the ward trunk or treat. Brenden was so excited and I was happy I had not gone into labor and could join him and moss for the fun times. He was so excited to get into his ironman costume and kept showing us all his sweet moves. 

We had some yummy chili and brenden found kids in our ward that were dressed up in any kind of avengers costume. He followed them around and had some friendly fights. The ward had some fun games for the kids to play and brenden won a cupcake. Of course he only ate the frosting and was done. It was finally time to start the trunk or treat! He was so excited, he has been asking when we were going to go to the park and get candy again since last year. He had a blast! When we got home brenden spilled out his loot and was excited to separate them up.

On Tuesday Brenden got to dress up again for his preschool party. He played a lot of fun games and told me all about them, he was so excited to get some angry birds candy. When school was over we did a trunk or treat for the kids. It was really fun to see Brenden with is school mates that he tells me about.

On actual Halloween we had a fun last night as a family of three. Moss' family put together a fun Halloween party at his parents house. It started with a yummy soup dinner followed by games. First we played a musical chairs type game Brenen and Moss would champs at walking around like zombies...

We than had a relay pushing a pumpkin around with a broom, Brenden needed a little help but Moss was a champ. We also did a relay to suck up papers of witches recipes...

Brenden got introduced to the four corners game and is now in love. We also played bingo and Brenden did awesome and pretty much played by himself and got bingo!

After the party we headed home and brenden asked if we could go trick or treating. We said of course and walked around the neighborhood hitting a dozen or so houses. He did really good at saying thank you and would run back with a big grin everytime. Some houses he did not want to go to because they were decorated too scary. He also did not want to go to a house if they did not have any decorations up.

 Again when we got home we had to separate out all his candy and see what he got. It was a very fun night and I am so happy we got to spend one last holiday spoiling just him:) now we get to spoil two:)
