As of late...

Brenden and I are pretty much best buds at this time in our life, he makes me happy and I love to hear what he has to say about life. He recently took up painting and gets really excited to see it on the fridge... He always ask me to draw everyone of the cousins haha.

The other night we made play dough and he was a bit confused but once we explained what it was he was happy to play with it.

He loves to take pictures with the camera and ask me to take pictures of him, here is a cute one...well they are all cute but this one especially. A couple weeks ago it rained and he ask for the umbrella and stood out in it:)

A few things about Brenden....

He is 2 and a half

When its dark he ask where the sun went and every morning the last couple of days he gets to excited to see the sun and says "the sun woke up"

He used to say "K" to everything and not yes or no. Just the last few days he has changed to "yup"

He always ask to go to "Pam's" house. (Cam)

Every morning when he wakes up during the week he ask where daddy is, sooner or later I think he will get that he is at work every time. haha.

He loves to watch You Tube videos of kids playing with Cars and sometimes talks to them like they can hear him...poor kid.

He loves to go to nursery and request that we sing songs from there too him.

When tell him to do something he says "Like Ryan, like Porter" Like Bray Bray like....." and list almost all his cousins.

Lillywhite Family Camp 2011

I made a list of things to do last night for today and do a post was one of them so here I am. This summer has been pretty normal but fun at the same time. A couple weeks ago we headed out on the Lillywhite family camp in Yankee Meadow. It was nice because the drive was not too long and it was way nice weather.

On the first night we had a little talent show put on by the grandkids. Brenden was not schelduled to perform but after seeing the other kids he wanted too. He sang his ABC's, Life is a highway, and Real Gone. I was so surprised at how brave he was he usually is shy but I guess he is confident in his singing ability:)

The next morning we headed out on a nice hike just the right distance for Brenden and I:) It ended at this sweet waterfall.

Brenden was such an awesome hiker and probably fell down 10 times but would get right back up and keep going with out any whining. He ran almost the whole way back and kept telling me it was my turn haha.

He was so excited to go over the bridges and would ask to get down when we came to one.

He eventually ended up on Moss shoulders but enjoyed hitting the trees.

Back at camp Brenden loved playing with his cousins. There are four boys withing 8 months of each other and they are really good at playing trucks and running around. It was so nice this year cause Brenden pretty much just hung out on his own until he needed something and would come back haha. He also loved to pay with "his baby" Madi. He gets so excited when we say we are going to see her haha.

The last night there we had a really cool set up and watch Ratioulle in the middle of the woods. Brenden did really good at staying interested until he fell to sleep near the end.

It was really fun to see most of Moss family. I love how much they love to play games and chat about random things. We were so happy we could get away for awhile and enjoy everyone.

Independence Day 2011

Independence day was lots of fun again this year. In the morning time we went to the park and Brenden played some of the free games there and walk away with some sweet prizes:) He loved the basketball shoot out and actually made one. He loved being there and walking around and telling us where he wanted to go. Moss and Brenden looking cute:)He won two free ice cream cones at Dairy Queen a free pass of the carosell and a free pass to the city pool with hydro-tube!!! haha. After the park we headed over and got our ice creams.We then got our stuff together and headed up to a lake by the black ridge on your way to cedar. When we got there there were some jet skis there which made it a little hard to paddle around but we still had fun.
We towed all our stuff over to the other side of the lake and have a yummy picnic and then headed back.

When we got back we saw this sweet cowboys testing out the waters to see if there truck could make it over the flooded road. The first road there horses across and saw that it went up to their belly's.

They went back to there truck and decided they could totally make it, we were all like uh... not a good idea. Well they got about half way then started to get water coming in from the windows and started to slide off the road haha. I should feel bad for them but they should of known!

We then took a quick shower and headed to the park which we have done almost every year since I can remember with my family.

Brenden was really excited about the fireworks but mostly he just wanted to hang out with Cam and play with this glow stick.

This is my niece Makayla and she is so adorable and has so much personality:) She kept wanting to sit on my lap the whole night.
The fireworks started and Brenden loved them!

After the awesome show we went to Heathers house since they are not allowed in Washington to set off some more fireworks. There friend brought some sweet ones that flew in the sky!Brenden loved playing with Cam and his cars.

I love living in a free country and I love that we have a day to celebrate it. I love getting together with family and am so happy to live so close to them, most the time haha:)

Happy 27th Birthday Moss!

I was all into Moss birthday this year and was super excited to surprise him with lots of fun activities. It started out on Wednesday the night before his birthday when we went to dinner at yummy Red Lobster. I told him I had a coupon that expired that night and that was why we had to go the day before his birthday. We dropped Brenden off at bonnie's so we could just go to dinner, or so moss thought:) Dinner was really good and they have a sweet four course meal for 15 bucks right now! After dinner we wondered around and drove to hurst to check out what they had there, then I said we needed to head home so we got back in the car and I started driving the opposite direction. He ask where we were going and I said I needed to show him something. As we got closer I told him to look in the glove box for a surprise and he found these...

Tickets to see Little Mermaid that night. He got really excited and told me I was really sneaky. I love to surprise him! We got there and hung out until the show started...It was really good and they did some sweet stuff. Moss loved it and that is what mattered most.

We then headed towards home but when we got at the end of the Boulevard I said I had one more surprise and told him to look in the glove box again. This time he found a hotel key:) Moss had gotten a one night stay from work a few months prior and so I used it. Even better was my good friend Bret's husband works there and he upgraded it to the only suite in the place!!! I was really excited to show Moss that and it not just be a normal room. Thanks again Zach and Bret! Earlier that day Brenden and I had gone by and decorated the place to make it more special. Moss was surprised by that too:)

It was really late when we got there but we still took the time to use the awesome huge tub they had in there...
In the morning we got ready and Moss wanted to go pick up Brenden cause he missed him. I thought that was pretty cute. We picked up Brenden who would of rather stayed with RyanPorter (They have one name haha). We then headed out to Sand cove to try out Moss new raft. Brenden was excited to sit by the boat and told us it was watching cars too haha.
We had a little picnic so we would have some energy to row across the huge lake haha.

Brenden was a little worried at first but got used to it and was excited to be in there with us. He kept saying it was his turn to row.I did most the rowing and finally got it down enough to get us back to shore:) Moss mostly laughed. Brenden was a good helper and pulled the raft out of the water all by himself!

We came home and rested up a bit then headed off to Feista fun to use the other gift certificate we had there too. We just plated arcade games this time cause it was so hot outside. We rocked them though. We seriously got like 5 jackpots on different games...here are pictures to prove it...

We made a haul in the toy department. We ended up with 370 tickets and we still have about 25 coins to use. Brenden was mostly excited about the things that cost 12 tickets but we got excited and got some big stuff too. We then went and wondered around Tj Max, we love to do that there is all sorts of fun treasures there for cheap. I was not planning on buying anything but Brenden convinced Moss he needed this Mack. He has been asking for one for a really long time to Moss said he could get it.
We then went to dinner and Mcdonalds and Brenden ate lots of fries we were very excited about seeing as he does not eat very much ever. First he would feed it to make and then eat it.

We came home and I got impatient and picked a few carrots to see how they were growing...whoops not done yet.We then flew around Moss sweet helicopter Jay and Brynn got him. He loves that thing and so does Brenden. Moss parents also got him some peddles for his bike which I need to do a post about too.We ended the night with a walk and called it a perfect day:)

Fathers Day 2011

Last week it was Fathers day and we got to celebrate Moss and let him know how much we really do love him! At church Brenden made a cute little tie for Moss with his hand print on it. I forgot to get a picture whoops. Then we came home and gave him his present. Brenden was so excited...also he did not want anything to do with clothing at this point so don't mind is near nakedness:)


Brenden is really good at helping unwrap things.

Its a raft, Yes!!

Moss didn't really expect to get a raft but thats what I like to do best haha. He was pretty excited about it. We used it on Thursday for Moss birthday, but I will post about that a little later.

We love our Moss and think he is an AWESOME dad. Brenden is a pretty lucky guy I think to have a dad as devoted and caring as him:)
