It's so sad... apparently.

Here is a little sample of Brenden's sad face. It seems whenever you hold out a long note he is very sad about it. Church is no good for him, all through the hymns he is about to tears. It is so sad but so so funny. I know I am a bad mom for making him do this but it's so dang cute! Check it out!

Favorite things

The task of entertaining Brenden every second of the day is still a work in progress. We have found a few things lately that will keep him happy for a little while.
On Sunday we were looking around for stuff to take to church to keep him happy and we found this fuzzy blanket. Well its only about 1 foot wide and long but he LOVES it! Every time we give it to him he pulls it up to his face over and over and is really content.

The other night we were getting ready for bed and Brenden just wouldn't fall to sleep so we gave him this and he rubbed in on his face and was out in a few minutes:) We also had Brenden new favorite song playing in the background. (Beware its very loud but thats how he likes it!) It was so cute I had to get a picture and video.

Last night when I got home from the gym no one was home and I was a little worried. I look around the house and figured out that the stroller was missing so I figured they were on a walk. I walked outside and heard the stroller coming up the road. I just laughed when I saw Brenden. He looked so dang cute!!! First off he was just sitting there so blah and also his jacket and pants were so tight! I guess he got too fat whoops. Moss says they walked about 2 miles, if it keeps him happy I guess we have to do it:)
Well other than being parents things are going good for us, some exciting things may be in the works for us but I will let you know. Moss just has a few finals left and then its officially summer! YES!!!

Every since I heard waterfall I have been a major fan of Jon Schmidt. This sounds really lame but when people ask if I could go back to any day in my life I really want to say when I went to a concert at Tuachan where he play the Pacabel meets U2. It was amazing! First it was only him on stage and then slowly different people came out to play different instruments. Well he has done another one of thoes now and holy cow! It is amazing! Go to the bottom of my page and you can watch it. Let me know what you think! I am definltiy buying this song at the first chance I get.

It's embarrassing...

You know it's time to clean out your jewelery drawer when you grab a necklace to wear and pretty much everything in the drawer comes out with it. That is exactly what happened on Sunday. I only wanted one necklace when about 5 other came with it along with a headband, two bracelets, a shoe lace, a draw string for some pants( I have been meaning to put back in) and to top it off two flash lights. Yes I said flash lights:) Whoops I guess spring cleaning will have to happen pretty soon to my dresser:)

So Glad I am not the skinniest

Every Sunday my family gets together to have some dinner. There is usually something weird going on since we are a weird family. However, todays weirdness was blog worthy I decided. My dad asked Joanna to get something that was really high up and Joanna complained that even with the stool she was not tall enough. My dad fixed this problem in about two second by grabbing her and picking her up so she could see. Hence the title, if I was the skinniest I would of probably been picked up by my dad and as fun as that looks I think I would rather be fat:)

Easter 2009

I love holidays! I am always thinking about what holiday is coming up next so I can decorate and prepare and just have fun. This year we got to have a little guy enjoy it with us all though he spent most of the fesitivites sleeping. We were ok with that though, next year he will be a little mroe involved. This year it was pretty much all Moss running around looking for the eggs. He is really good at humoring me when it comes to holiday as many of you know.
This is the very first egg that Moss found...He was so excited can't you tell?

He started to store his found eggs in his pockets but it got to heavy and they almost fell off. Don't worry I won't post a picture of that.
He was just so excited about how many eggs he was finding and kept counting them!
Brenden was excited to can't you tell? Don't mind that he doesn't have any pants on we were not quite ready for the day:)
Moss was searching so hard for his basket...

but don't worry he found it.



Here are all of the yummy things he found inside.

Brenden found his basket too, it was in his swing right next to him so it wasn't too hard. Next year maybe we will cover it with a blanket. He got a sweet new book for his nightly story. He was getting kind of sick of his other ones. Okay, we were getting kind of sick of them. He is screaming out of anger, just pure joy:)


I had a easter basket too that came with this sweet basketball game. I was excited!

Later in the day we went up to Grandma Key's house and had a little egg hunt. Brenden found this one all by himself and he could almost hold it.

This is why we live in St. George...
