Christmas Treats :")

This year I decided it would be fun to make some Christmas treats to give away to Moss' co workers and a few other friends. I saw some bags full of Hot Chocolate, marshmallows and chocolate chips at K-mart and decided I could get creative and make my own. Moss was a troopers and help me run around town gather the stuff we needed for it. I then decided they would be cute to put into some mugs so we got some from Tia Pan and headed home to get started on our project. We had a pretty sweet assembly line going first I would add the Hot chocolate

then the Marshmallows

then the Chocolate chips

and then Moss would twisty tie them.
And then they were done:)

I added them to the mugs, added some ribbon and this is the finnally product.

Our Thanksgiving 2008

This year Moss and I spent most of Thanksgiving with his family since last year we spent it with mine. In the morning though I went over to my moms house and made some necklaces and bracelets while Moss went into Summit for about an hour. It was fun to hang out with my sisters and be crafty, we used to do a big craft every year while the boys went riding but since it was raining the boys were not gone very long and we had a billion kids running around. This is how the morning looked...

All the while Bonnie and Heather helped in the kitchen and Joanna showed up after awhile and held her baby:)

Later on we went to Moss' parents house for Thanksgiving dinner. It was very good and fun to be around all his family since they don't get everyone together very often. I forgot my camera in the car so I don't have any pictures of the meal but trust me it was good.
After dinner we all laid around for awhile then headed down to Summit so the kids could swim and the adults could play a game of "Manley Battle" otherwise known as badminton. You would think Badminton wouldn't be intense but trust me it is. I didn't play this year cause I would of died but last year I did and it was sweet. It's funny cause in one of my pregnancy magazines it specifically says do not play Badmition. haha. Moss did great! I made more necklaces...

After wards we came home and ate lots of pie. We seriously had like 10 pies to pick from. Moss and I made an Apple one and a Banana Cream one. Moss loved his pie.
I got a little bit of each... no wonder I look like I am carrying a baby all over my body:)


The rest of the weekend we spent more time with Moss' parents and Jay and Brynn. It was a lot of fun. We played lots of card games and even went to that crazy park I posted about awhile ago. I am excited for Christmas when everyone gets together again:)

Getting ready for the Holidays...

Right after Moss and I moved in I decided I didn't want to put the Christmas tree away instead we would just put it up. Moss thought it was a little too earlier, but I just started to put it up and he joined in eventually. Don't worry we are not skipping over Thanksgiving, I have been talking about Thanksgiving for like the last month saying ow excited I am. Moss will be glad when it is over I am pretty sure:) We are lame and just have a fake tree to put up because when I was younger I swear every year we got a real one it would die like a week before Christmas and my mom would vacuum up the needles and for the rest of the year every time she vacuumed it would smell like old Christmas tree needles. Needless to say we enjoy our non-smelling tree:)
Once we had figured out how to put it together we worked hard to shape all the branches to make it look a little real.
Next we added on the lights...oh so beautiful:)We then added on some ornaments, the first one we put on was one that I found at TJ max a few days ago and it says "Our first Christmas 2007" on it. Last year we looked around forever for one and couldn't find one but oddly enough I found one this year. Its not the most beautiful one but it will work:)We then added on all the red and silver ornaments...
Last but not least we added on our "angel" to top it off! Ok, it is actually a monkey that Moss made when he was little but we think it works really good:)
At last we were all finished!We then set up our sweet Lego Nativity Set that we are pretty sure is the sweetest Nativity scene ever. Sometimes Moss just plays around with it...

Moving...such a joy:)

We are finally all settled in minus a few random boxes that will need our attention someday. Last Wednesday Bonnie and I loaded up the trailor full of all our crap. Mostly Bonnie did all of the work since I am not in the best shape to be doing that. Bonnie used to love that Moss had all sorts of books but now I think she has changed her mind after hauling them all out of the house. On Thursday night Moss and his brothers and a friend loaded up all of our furniture into a big trailor and we were already to start moving in the next day. We were suppose to start moving at like 9 but the people who's house we were moving into had A LOT of stuff and so it didn't happen until 11 and then they still had stuff in here so we just moved in the furniture and waited around. They didn't get finshed until about 10 that night and even then there was still some random stuff here. It was a little frustrating that is for sure and I am glad that Moss and I don't have too much crap. Finally on Friday morning I went out and started to unload the trailor it was going to take a long time with just me but I was going to do it and make Moss so happy. Well about an hour into it and only about 15 boxes out Bonnie called and volunteered to come over and bring my dad. He didn't know we were moving whoops. So after they got here it went a lot faster and was alot easier on me:) I don't know what I would of done with-out Bonnie these last months because she has basically moved us the last two times. THANKS BONNIE! She even bought us some smelly things to put in the house since it seemed a little stuffy in here. The house has turned out to be not too bad, after we replaced about 20 light bulbs you can acutally see what is going on in here and since we don't have near as much stuff you can actually see the house and its pretty nice. The New House...

Our Engagement Anniversary

Two years ago yesterday Moss ask me to marry him! I can't believe its been two whole years, in lot of way it seems like it was only a few months ago. It's crazy how time flies. On Wednesday November 14th 2006 Moss and I were given some Jazz tickets so we headed up north for a little mid week trip. I thought it was going to be awhile still until he proposed so I didn't think anything too exciting was going to happen. We went to the Jazz game and had lots of fun and then stayed the night at Moss sisters house. The next morning we went to temple square since I had never been there before. We walked around it for along time and then went to the conference center. Moss got some text from some of his guy friends that said So?!?!?! and things like that, I tend to get really really excited about things and then when they don't happen I get way sad about it so I convinced myself it wasn't going to happen. Before we were about to head out Moss said lets walk around the temple on more time. So we went and sat on a bench and I then thought he was going to do it so I kept looking away giving him a chance to get down on his knees and whip out the ring. Finally we started to talk about getting married and I said yeah well it will be like five years and he said what if I don't want to wait five years and he got down and asked me. I said yes and didn't even notice the ring cause I was so excited. After a hug and Kiss he put it on my finger and its been pretty much bliss since then... well you know what I mean:)

Yesterday Moss said he needed to get something at Summit and when he came back he had roses for me and ask me if I still wanted to be married to him. I said I guess... He is so cute to do something like that:)

30 weeks...and oh by the way we are moving AGAIN!

I am 30 weeks along and still getting huge, the best part is that next week we get to move. Just so you know moving while pregnant is not so much fun. You can't pick up anything because your belly pokes out so far that there is no way to carry it and you are already having a hard enough time breathing with your lungs getting pushed up your throat. Other than that though I would suggest it to every Mom-to-be. We are moving out to Washington fields, its a little but bigger house, which doesn't really matter right now but it does have a back yard so that will be good. The plan is to keep us there until after the baby is born so we can get settled a little, but I am pretty sure moving with a baby will be awesome:) Oh well we get to live in nice houses for cheap and don't really have enough time to get too much crap built up before we move. I figured we would not be here long so I didn't decorate hardly at all so I am happy for that. We also didn't unload too many of Moss' billion books so that helped. I just want to get going on the moving so I can get out my Christmas tree and have some fun with the holidays. I don't have any pictures of the house but I will post some when I do.
