Chill-axing

Brenden has started to be very reluctant to go to bed at night. The hardest part about it is that he is just so happy and not a but tired. Which means he is acting too dang cute to make him go to bed. Poor Moss has to wake up so early in the morning and Brenden just sleeps in now so it doesn't affect me at all really. He is just so cute and happy jabbering about all sorts of things. A few days ago Brenden just kept screaming in his bed so Moss went and got him. Turns out all he wanted to do was lay there with Moss and just relax. haha He seriously did not move from this position for like a half hour:)

Russell & Nicole's Wedding

Last week on October 16th my big brother Russell got married to Nicole. It was a really fun day and I think things went over very smoothly. It was awesome to have all the family together in the temple for the sealing. It is so weird that it was our last time to be having a sibling wedding. Next is nieces and nephews and since there are a billion hopefully there will be plenty of good times at the temple. I think they make a very cute couple.

Here are all the sisters. And I think we look good:) haha Heather and Joanna are with child thats why there sashes are higher fyi, it's not because they are in a different gang or something.

Our boys are pretty cute too. I like the red haired with the fo-hawk best! Timmy and Jason are just being cool with there glasses, they are not in a gang either.

Our cute Grandma came down too. We were very excited to see here. It was also her birthday too which was fun to celebrate with her. I think she is like 37 or something:) She is the cutest Grandma ever! She is so nice and always makes sure you are well fed and warm when you visit here.

Turns out I get to be with these people FOREVER! Wow thats a long time, I think it will be fun. I am pretty sure if down here on earth we can get together EVERY Sunday for about 5 hours and still like each other FOREVER looks possible! Love ya guys!

Once it was just this many, back then I am sure Russell and Bonnie WERE in a gang. I am glad they have since let the rest of us in it too!

And here she is! The new member of the family. We are very excited!

The reception was a lot of fun. It was catered with some sweet Hawaiin food and Moss and Aaron rocked the sundae bar. The best part was how happy Russell and Nicole were. Everything went so well! We took a few pictures before hand....

Russell and Nicole then headed our int the moonlight on Russ' tractor. It was so freaking cool, when I get the picture I will add them. It was a great day and so much fun!

Our Visit With The Ducks

On Thursday I told Moss I wanted to take Brenden to see the ducks, so like a good husband he says sure lets do it. Moss' Mom had told us that they would just walk up to you, so I was pretty excited. Right when we got there the ducks started swim towards us and then just walked right out of the water. It was so cool! We didn't have any bread with us so we tried to feed them some of Brenden's puffs but sadly they were not into them so they got back in the water. Moss then ran to his parents house and grabbed some bread. This time they stayed around a lot longer. I gave Brenden a piece of bread and the duck ate it right out of this hand. Brenden jump a little but then thought it was pretty funny. It was seriously way fun. I love animals when you can interact with them but don't have to take care of them haha. We will definitely be going back there a lot. He just loved it! Don't worry I just asked Moss if they are going to fly south for the winter and Moss says he is pretty sure this is south for the winter:)

"Hi Mama and Dada"

As you may know Brenden has been a little slow on hitting his milestones that every parent is looking for. Although I must say he is hitting all his growth ones like a champ. Also his looking pretty dang cute all the time:) Finally Brenden decided to hop on the wagon and start learning some new things. It's not perfect but it works and its just so dang cute. Brenden can finally wave! Well not really wave mostly just stick his hand up in the air. But I figure how many of us adults actually wave now-a-days. We all just usually stick our hands up and say hi. He is just too mature I guess. If that is really confusing for you I will try and demonstrate with this here picture...
Haha! He is just so happy to be able to do it. He also has learned how to clap, by that I mean he did it once while I was doing it. I am a little worried though because now when I clap he waves like this. Too much at one time I think:) Slowly but surely he is learning how to be a big boy and I love it!
*Pardon there not being any pants on the kid. At our house there is a rule that when you poop on your pants you do not get anymore for that day. We have all learned that the hard way, as you can see Moss did well this day:)

4 Years!

Yesterday was Moss' 4 year anniversary of coming home from his mission! It is so crazy that he has been home for the time of two whole missions. Since I was not there when he came home back then I decided to have my own little homecoming for him. Brenden and I made some signs, got some sushi (cause in Seattle they eat sea food) and Moss' favorite Rubarb pie. It was very yummy and a lot of fun to have a little party. I think he enjoyed it:) Brenden and I sure do love our Moss. He is such a hard worker and is so nice to us and always puts us first. We love you Moss!

One of my favorite things...

Moss took these pictures a while ago but I thought they were too dang cute to pass up posting on.
The first one I just want mostly for memories. There are not many feelings out there in the world like having you baby fall alseep in your arms. I just love how cuddly Brenden is and I hope he stays like that for awhile. Sooner or later he might start squishing me but at least for now its awesome. I get really excited when Brenden is ready for his afternoon nap cause it means I get to wrap him up in a blanket turn on my Dr. Phil and just relax:)This next picture it just so cute. One day I was just rocking away with Brenden on my lap. I didn't even know he was sleeping, I thought he was just playing with his bouncy ball but after awhile I noticed he had really moved much. I couldn't see if he was asleep or not but I had a pretty good idea. So I did what any Mom would do now-a-days, I grabbed my phone and reached out as far as I could and snapped a picture of his face. My suspicions were correct. When Moss got home a little bit later I was sure to get a real picture.
It's a dang good thing Bonnie and Aaron gave us this recliner, I would not have survived the first couple months with Brenden and this last couple of month wouldn't of been near as fun and cuddly. Thanks again!

First Real Haircut

Brenden's hair was starting to get a bit too long so it was time to get out the clippers. We were not sure how it was going to go but we were hoping I would not slip and hurt him which is a worthy goal I think. Here are the before pictures. I think his hair was starting to tickle his ears cause he would always mess with them until I tucked the hair behind his ears. He had a few curls in the back but not too many that I was too sad to cute.

Afterwards. I think he looks pretty dang cute. I know it's not really noticeable but we can tell and thats what counts right? He did a pretty good job and only tried to grab the clippers a few times. Moss was really good at distraction him though:)
