Christmas 2011

This Christmas was filled with a lot of family and a lot of fun. Brenden was old enough this year to be a lot  more involved with decorating and telling us what he wanted for Christmas. He requested some things that were doable and some that were not so much. Like asking for stairs in our house  like Grandma and Bonnie. haha

We started the festivities on Christmas Eve by going to dinner at Moss’ parents house. I didn’t get any pictures but it was really yummy and fun to see Jay and Brynn as an added bonus. Brenden loved seeing Madi and was pretty good with being nice.

We then headed to my parents house to spend time with my family.Brenden was so excited to give Cam his present and held it tight the whole way there.

Heather and Joanna’s families where the only ones who joined us this year so it was a much smaller group but still lots of fun.

Later on he handed everyone a camera of some type and told us to watch him sing on Makayla’s new microphone. She did lots of dancing around haha.

We did the traditional writing game where you write something nice about each other. I kid you not this year my dad put your have a sweet family on everyone’s paper  haha. So touching…

We then came home to our house where Brenden played with his awesome gift from Grandma and Grandpa Lillywhite. Little cars from Cars 2. He loves them!

We then went to sleep and Santa stopped by and left some good stuff. We turned Christmas music up really loud and coxed Brenden out of his bed he was all sorts of confused but was excited when he saw this…

Next he checked out his stocking and found some Croutons and other candies.

Brenden loved this huge kiss Moss gave me and took it and said it was for his power rangers…

We then opened presents.By we I mean Brenden opened all of his and ours:)

 

Brenden finally got Red, the fire truck from Cars. He had been asking for it for about 6 months.He was really excited.

I got a pictures cutter which I have wanted forever, a black dress, socks, a belt and super yummy cereal:)

Moss got a new shirt some liberty apparel (the college he is attending online for his Masters), cheese grater, new ipad cover, a millennium falcom that flies and bumper cars.

We then went to church in our new clothes and enjoyed lots of signing and the true meaning of Christmas.

We then went to my parents house with the whole family this time.

Timmy and Trini had us this year and they gave us this AMAZING gift! We were in much need of a blender and we got the best of them all. We have used it several times already with the yummy shake mixes they gave us. We are very happy about it:)

My parents gave us a binder that hand a bunch of Scrapbook pages filled with pictures from us as kids. It was pretty cool and they are going to keep adding to it. We also played the gift card game this year and Moss and I ended up with movie tickets and Red lobster. We were very happy.

We then headed to Moss’ families house and had a nativity program. Brenden was too sleepy to participate but everyone else did a good job.

That night we played games with Moss family and had lot of fun.

A few days after we were able to make it over to the temple to see the nativity. Brenden thought it was pretty cool and was excited to be at “Jesus’ house”.

We had a very merry Christmas and where very happy to spend time with so much family and feel very blessed for being able to enjoy the time with just us.
